The Cottage Inn welcomes you!

beCOVID-19 UPDATE 17th September

In light of the recent government announcements (summarised below) please note that from Friday 18th September our bar & restaurant will close at 10pm.
We will be operating on a strict "table service" basis only. It is now essential that you book a table (even if it's just for drinks in the bar or garden) to assist us in managing these changes.
We cannot take table bookings for more than 6 people & we will continue collecting track & trace data from all customers.

If you have any concerns about any future bookings for accommodation or food & drink please do not hesitate to contact us.

The following new COVID19 restrictions will be in place by LAW from Friday 18th September:
*Residents must not socialise with other people outside of their own households in private homes and gardens
*All hospitality for food and drink will be restricted to table service only
*Late night restriction of operating hours will be introduced, with venues required to close between 10pm to 5am.

The following points are recommended ADVISORY guidance:
*Residents should not socialise with other people outside of their own households in all public venues.
*Residents are advised to only use public transport for essential purposes, such as travelling to school or work
*Holidays should be taken within your own household or support bubble
*Residents are advised against attending amateur and semi-professional sporting events as spectators.

Our huge beer garden is ideal for socially distanced al-fresco dining or drinks (when the weather is kind), there are also tables on the covered patio, our restaurant is open with a slightly reduced number of tables.  The bar area also has fewer tables & there are no tables in the conservatory as this is now part of the one-way system to enter the building from the rear.

Our garden is huge with a lot of tables but unfortunately, due to the restriction on maximum numbers of people we can safely social distance when entering the building to use the toilets or place an order, we cannot use this to maximum capacity.

We have carried out our risk assessments & internal policies have been updated to ensure that we adapt our working practices compliantly & to ensure the safety of our staff & customers, summary details of which can be downloaded in the documents below.  As time goes on these will be reviewed and amended.

Thank you for your patience.
