Please note that we are currenty only taking accommodation bookings up to & including 25th April 2026. Our intention is to keep the bar & kitchen open until at least the 30th April, we are currently unable to confirm opening hours for the Bank Holiday weekend until nearer the time.
Potential new owners are in negotiations to takeover following our exit on 4th May but we have no confirmed information at this time regarding commencement of trading or rooms availability. As things progress & new information comes available we will update these pages.
Location
The Cottage Inn is a few minutes from the spectacular Northumberland heritage coast an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). A short 10 minute walk will take you to Craster and then onto the magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.
Northumbria is one of the UK's best kept open secrets with miles of fine spacious uncrowded beaches, unspoilt countryside, dozens of quiet villages set against the backdrop of the Cheviot Hills, some of the most beautiful scenery found anywhere. The accommodation, including all public rooms, is on one level. The Restaurant and charming conservatory lead into the secluded gardens and patio. Carefully prepared food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere make a meal into a special occasion.
The Cottage Inn Craster is an ideal venue for a small intimate wedding reception or other special occasion.
We are a "dog-friendly" establishment. Your canine friends are welcome to join you in the bar and conservatory. 7 of our letting rooms are also dog-friendly.
